Admissions Process

We want to make the admissions process as easy as possible for you and your family. Below is an outline of the steps you’ll need to take to apply.

Student Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open!

Step 1: Complete a student application

This application helps us get to know your family and your child’s educational needs. It also puts you in our system so we can follow up with you regarding the next steps of the application!

Step 2: attend a discovery day

Please note if you would like to get to know the school more before you fill out an application you can attend a Discovery Day before your application. Discovery Days allows you to see and hear all that WCS has to offer!

Step 3: Attend a student shadow day

Prospective students are invited to experience a day at Waterloo Christian School by shadowing a current student in their grade level. This allows your child to get a feel for our school environment and meet potential classmates. (Note: This step is not required for incoming kindergarten students. Families of incoming kindergarten students should plan to attend our Kindergarten Readiness Day)

Step 4: Family Interview

We love getting to know prospective students and families. As part of our admissions process, we look forward to learning more about you, your family, and your child’s needs. Families may choose to attend one of our two Interview Days during the months of January or February. Students in the 5th grade and above will join us for the family interview.
